Coral dieing??

    yes i believe its bleaching also it is expelling its life giving zooxanthellae it can be lighting, water temp, alk, not enough iodine in the water to adjust to the lighting change, unstable ph or all the above or a combination of them i have seen this type of nem bounce back very quickly if some thought and care are giving to see what it wants or what its having a reaction to.



    plus this coral can be over fed

    Actually hes opened up alot a i tried yesterday feeding him a small piece of fish and he ate it great :)

    Hes gotten the colors back and to me hes looking right !

    PH cant be, and temp either the rest i checked and its fine..

    Guessing I was overfeeding it

    Should i feed all my coral 3 time every week, or two?

    i don't feed mine at all and they are at a point now where i must collect some of them, they do have a good sting and must be watched on encroaching corals that die easily i would feed once a week if i wanted them to split faster

    +1 Feeding small pieces of raw seafood like shrimp or fish around a 1/4" will probably be less messy and more effective than feeding tiny mysis shrimp.
