Coral Beauty Thoughts?

    I too like the flames but with a bright yellow Tang and an orange and black Clown I'd like to get a fish with more my fav color, purple/royal blue on it.
    I do know what you mean about it blending in tho.

    I also am in the process of raising the temp slowly to between 78-80

    I mean that with the actinic lights, the coralline algae, the leathery corals and so on, the purple/bluish coloration of a coral beauty doesn't really stand out from the rest, at least in my tank.

    78-80 should be perfect. Because I live in a very hot city I keep mine at about 80-83. I believe that the sweet spot depends on your home temperature, or the tank temperature will swing quite a bit.
