    A very nice looking hitchhiker. Wondering if it's reef safe.He is very small, this is a picture of him on a terrycloth towel and you can almost see the stitching. He is about a 1/4 inch wide.Bright orange with white spots with purple outlines. looks like the shape of a stone crab with the large claws that are held close to the body.

    Yeah i like him. i hope he is RSafe but i have a bad feeling about him. He could be one of those guys that come on Acropora???

    He looks too me like a gaudy clown crab Platypodiella spectabilis.

    They eat zoos.. so not reef safe.

    I read that if their claws look sharp they are not reef safe, if they have dull claws they are reef safe.

    Nailed it. it's a Platypodiella spectabilis. Then he will stay in thesump until i can find something for him. Thanks all.
