My female that was male Oscellaris Clown does not alwasy chase the wrasse only on occasion. Anyone here have a Fasiry Wrasse and a Oscelaris CLown and what size tank do you have. I have a 46 bow with 60LBS of LR. I like the Clown but I think I like the Wrasse more.

Fish don't read books or forums to know how they are supposed to act.

Different fish will have different personalities. If it is only chasing and only on occasion I don't think it is anything to get worried about. My female oscellaris will chase everyone away from her turf, except the male and the yellow tang which are oddly enough the best of friends.

I think Clowns dont see tangs as a threat but they must see a Fairy Wrasse as a threat. I had a gramma that once killed a Fairy Wrasse. Possibly my female is spawning even without a male.

Yeah, unless is absolutely non-stop I wouldn't worry much about it. Probably just a little "get away from my rock" reminder every once in a while.
