I got home from school today and i find my scopas tank inside my condys mouth. The tang is just a big as the anemone and idk how this happened. This is the first fish death i have ever had over 2 years of having my 70 gal. R.I.P little man! :(

yeh when i FIRST got into the hobby i had a condy...and it ate my HUGE cleaner shrimp (it was nearly 3"!)....needless to say..i learned a lesson about condys that day....they need to stay out of my tank!

condys are a good anemone for the first timers, well not really. i had one that ate my yellow tang and also two clownfish. they are cheap and thats what draws people to them, but they are not safe for any aquarium

I have never had a problem with him till today. He hasn't moved from the place i put him and my clownfish LOVES him! The cheap isn't what really gets me, i would still buy him for $50. I just think they are very pretty! I have had condys for years in the hobby and today was the first time anything has happened. Maybe the fish forgot something! Well that "something" cost him his life! :p As my mom says, "It's a fish, when it dies, you go buy another one." :)

I have been thinking about getting a baby aptasia eating file fish. I have a 70 gal mixed reef and tons of aptasia i cant keep up with anymore. What do you think? By the way, T.G.I.F!!
