I bought a spectrapure unit from someone local. I just replaced the carbon and sediment filters. Now my tds is reading 7 in and 14 out. Is it possible that my Di is causing my water quality to go down?

I believe sediment and carbon filters are meant to protect the RO membrane. How old is the DI cartridge? How long was the unit out of use before you started using it? Did you disinfect the housings? Maybe you should measure the tds before and after the RO membrane. This way you will be able to tell if it is the membrane or the DI cartridge that is causing this increase.

Lower water pressure and temperature can cause this. Don't go using hot water though.. Colder is better

Well the water is measured right after the ro and then after the Di. The increase is after the Di.
