Ya, that would be awesome...like a tank of the month contest! Everymonth we could vote on our favourite and place the monthly winners pics on the home page. Great idea.

Good thinking. Hopefully, Matt will pick up on this idea soon! In the meantime, I've been practicing with my camera...not great but better than before :)

What setting do you have the camera set for on this shot...do you remember?
I have been trying to get mine dialed in and it's not working.:-/

I tried a couple different settings for these pics. Some of the ones I tried were:

    ISO: 1600
    Shutter Speed: 1/30
    Apeture: F13

    ISO: 1600
    Shutter Speed: 1/60
    Apeture: F8

    ISO: 800
    Shutter Speed: 1/25
    Apeture: F8

    ISO: 800
    Shutter Speed: 1/60
    Apeture: F8

I also used a 50mm macro lens and I set my white balance using an 18% gray card. I can't tell you what settings I used for that particular shot because I don't have the right software here at work.

Yellow :) I have no idea really and the only way to get a 100% positive i.d. is to kill it and examine the skeleton under a microscope so from hereon out, it will be known as acropora itsayellowone :)
