as most of you know i am planning a shark tank in the somewhat near future. i am having several problems tho. first off, i have not kept sharks before and i am unaware what fish to keep them with. i was thinking osme large angels tangs and other large fish like triggers and puffers and lions but i was told otherwise. what fish are compatible?

Large angels will annoy sharks and peck out their eyes.

Depends what type of Sharks you want, if going for a peaceful species like the bamboo then you may have more options. If you want to go all out and get like a 3000 gallon+ tank then get a bonehead shark(small Hammerhead) and have just him.

Bonnetheads are protected, you can't have one unless it was CB. (Which it won't be)

Yup, got to the point where there were few left...And good luck shipping one alive and dealing with shipping costs. I would stock this tank waaaaay lighter than you're planning. Say 3 Blacktips, Queen Trigger, Clown Trigger, Orange Foxface, School of Yellow tangs, assorted large tangs, maybe 4-5 and thatd'dt be it for a 3000 gallon. I've seen public aquarium institutions with a 2800 gallon shark tank put 1 shark and 4 fish. Sharks produce a HUUUUUUUGE amount of waste.

i found a place where i could get a bonehead. they dont seem to be protected as ive found several places that sell them. if i got one of these what could i have with it? it looks cool enough i would be fine with it being one of the only fish in the tank.
