    For what it's worth, my stock biocube pump full open (without a regulator) was able to just barely provide a weak stream out of the denitrator (after 3"-4" of stream, it broke into rapid drops). I don't know what pump you're planning on running, but I doubt the one I have would do the full length of tubing. (I tested it last night)

    well then it should be good, no need for a regulator.

    just saying you may not want to seal your unit up until you know your pump can manage it. I would still need to regulate it a bit lower (to get 1-2 drops per second), but I was surprised at how slow it moved. It took _forever_ for the PVC tube to fill.

    well the reason for tubing is 1) slower flow, lower the oxygen and 2) the longer the slower the slower the flow in main chamber.

    I realize that... I'm just saying, full open it still took 30 minutes for it to fill.

    well but too much slow will create high nitrites in the outflow. i want to know about howmuch ml/sec. iv not yet got any answer on that. (for my 15gal)
