Does anyone with a coco worm feed him off of rods food, or do I still need to be putting phytoplankton in the tank?

I think it can vary from tank to tank how well these worms can do without feeding. Some tanks have enough food produced naturally in the system that doesn't get filtered out very fast so they have a chance to eat.

As far as I know they are phytoplankton/small particulate feeders so Rod's food probably isn't a great food source for them, they might pick up some of the smaller particles but they really need basically microscopic food. I think you might want to look at phytoplankton products (like DT's etc) mainly if you're concerned, or if you just want to give it a treat once in a while.
