Nah, they'll be #2 in the AP and coaches poll, at least Just saying, let the two undefeated teams play! Stiff penalty for some tattoo's and selling of personal belongings/

 

Like anything else, the penalty fits the crime. NCAA rules are rules, when you violate the rules you suffer the consequences. The fact that they got what the did was a blessing, the could have been handed more then what they were given. In the long run the coaches poll only goes so far, what matters to the alumni, the donors, and the prospects are the hardware...the bowl trophy and the bowl rings. Its one thing to go undefeated when you have things on the line (ND) its a whole other thing to let it all out because you have nothing to lose (OSU)

I get that, but face it, we played Buckeye football, and won ugly, I think we could play ND and be very competitive. We would match up well. And we had plenty to lose, as in games, but we chose not too

After the crap USC pulled I don't think they were denied bowl games. Pretty lame.

 

Yeah...no. National Champs go by the BCS (trust me, I wish it wasn't so!), and OSU is not on the radar there. AP doesn't hold water...remember USC ranked #1 week 1? And Texas ranked #1 two years ago? Thumbs up AP.

I would like to see OSU/ND because I think that might be entertaining...but OSU against any of the top 4 SEC teams would not be fun to watch for anyone except a Michigan fan. ;D

Yeah, they aren't on the BCS poll cause of the ban, which is ridiculous, guys got tattoo's for trading their own personal belongings, WHO CARES? A bowl ban is DUMB, while I agree that we'd struggle against the top 2 SEC teams, the top 4???? nah, I think we'd actually be competitive against anyone besides Alabama.
Just saying, an undefeated season is TOUGH, so I'm gonna call us co-national champs, because the BCS is just as much of a joke as any poll except the coaches poll, which face it, needs phased out.

 

Your coach/admins lied about the benefits that were being received and willingly played players that your coach knew were ineligible...I still don't know how that isn't a lack of institutional control. Not to mention all the baggage going on with Pryor. Be thankful this is all you got.
