Clowns?

I'm going to pick up a pare of clowns for my tank tonight and before ive always had the oscellaris orange white clowns. These will be the last fish in my tank for a while till i get my 100 or 150 gal next year. I was looking at doing a differnt type. Are there any out there that i have to watch out for out growing my tank or not playing nice with others?

 

Tomato, Black, and Maroons are the meanest. I personally like pink skunk ones if you want something more rare in the clown department.

 

those pink skunks look pretty cool heading to the lfs in about 15 to see what they have and what they have on order

 

Agreed with the above list with Maroon clowns being some of the meaner varieties. They also get quite large, about 6". However, keep in mind that any clown can be really mean, it largely depends on the individual fish.

 

Claowns, in the end, are damsels so they can all be mean. B&W Oc. are different and not as mean, I also agree with the skunks, they are cool little clowns that are not bad either.

 

Well they didnt have the pink skunks but they did have a couple other kinds of them then i saw these guys screwing around in their tank and had to get them. just dropped them in the dt last night and they seem to be playing well with everyone well except the damn damsel that came out and though he was going to boss them around and got chased around the tank for his effort.

Nice. Thats why I like clowns. They aren't mean unless someone is mean to them, lol. They must hold grudges. Is that one sticking his head into the blower, lol?
