Clowns breeding now eggs are gone??

    Do clown fish eat their own eggs? My ossilarus clowns laid eggs and I left and came home and now their gone. Their very protective of their area could another fish in my tank of ate them?

    The first few batches tend to be duds, and the parents eating them is not uncommon at all. Honestly, I'd let the first few batches end up as food,

    yep, the clowns or other fish will munch on them.
