Clown in Condy!?

    Thought this is kinda cool. Bought a Condy nem kinda as a "tester" for my tank to see if it was ready for a nem. Was not expecting my clown to get in it lol! The nem is very pretty when fully extended. Here is a short vid!

    sweet, although long term its not good for the clown, but someone else here has a clown currently hosting a condy...sorry i dont know the username :-X

    I plan to get a Long Tentacle or Bubble Tip Nem soon. So Maybe she will move over to it. Ty for the info though, did not know that.

    no problem :) that the whole point of these forums, to ask questions and to learn. i would suggest a BTA and not a LTA IMO though

    cool ya marron and clarki will take them as host now and then but now comes the real problem..with my maroon as soon as he took an anome as a host i was unable to put my hand in the tank with-out getting attacked and he draws blood,,enjoy lol

    the sting is much more potent and can lead to stress to the fish over time which can lead to disease.. but i have kept one before for a long period but the clown did start to recieve alserations on the body so i re-homed..

    more posionus sting, it takes more of that hosting period time when they swim in it and get stung to built up a resistance, but some clowns just perish do to all the stings

    i have had my clarkii for 2 years hosting all different kinds of anemones including condys. Never had a problem with it!
