my clowns are always hangign around my left hand side of the tank in the corner they dont really swim around the whole tank alot they have been in there for 2 weeks and eat fine, i was just confused i have a torch coral in that corner now for 1 week, but they still swim up against the wall and near that corner they havnt shown any notice to my coral and dont explore my tanks, there is a tunnel right near the corner and they havnt gone under it once, is there something wrong with them.

Please help or are they like hosting the wall lol

As daft as this sounds, stick a pic of a clown hosting the same coral you want yours to host against the tank for a couple of days....

Haha. That's good! I'll have to try this with my percula's. I have a BT and LT that hasn't been touched.

What kind of clowns are they? Some won't host torches, some will.

The other thing: my true percs hosted my torch within hours. They were wild caught. Are yours captive-bred? That can have an effect.

I hung pics of Ocellaris' hosting RBTA's for a long while but didn't have any luck. I think they thought there were giant clowns in the tank :). One day I got a GBTA and they took to it in a day, it's hit or miss but they will most likely host "something" at some point.

A lot of the captive bred clowns don't "know" that they are supposed to have a host. That is why some people have had success with taping the picture to the tank.

I have the same clowns and they still hang out on the back wall after 7 months.
