    The split was probably a stress reaction either because of its new environment or because of your clown nuzzling it too much before it got acclimated. The two anemones should move away from each other eventually so I wouldn't worry about them stinging each other.

    I have had anenomes split and I do not think they will sting each other. They are basically the same animal. Do not be surprised if one of the anenomes die. It is common for one to die if your water is not perfect or they get stressed.
