    no... no coral yet... hopefullly by 2night ill have coral... any certain kind of coral?

    When i first got my clown gobies i had a kenya tree coral. Its pretty similar to a colt coral but they dont grow nearly as fast or as big. Now they tend to stay in some polyps next to the anemones and montiporas.

    well i just got back off work and i looked at my tank and my clown goby was out and swimming.... but not right... he'll take off and do a little barrel roll and nose dive into the sand... hes been in my tank 4 days now, should i take him back to the store?

    give it some time - they can be very shy at first. Also they LOVE to hide out in xenia corals (waving hand, etc.) and its a pretty easy coral to keep IMO

    just as an update, i took the clown goby back to the store and they said he had tail and fin rot... so i started a little nursing aquarium and put him in there and hadded all the meds and he is swimming now without nose diving into the sand! so he seems to be making a complete recovery!
