    Thanks, Doog. That was helpful. I do recall viewing your thrad when it came to this part.

    Cost is a major factor in this. As are, looks. I like the clean & natural look of a closed loop. If I had the money to do it the way you did, Doog, I certainly would. You used a large pump with a valve at each connection, making for pretty easy access. You used ocean motions which is designed for this & has this all in mind. Though yours ran about you $500.

    here are my plumbing plans before considering a closed loop.

    Red arrows show direction of flow. Pinkish-purple are valves For the most part, blue lines are overflow & orange is waster water &/or return lines.

    I upgraded to a pan world 200 ps pump and it still is a sucker. Im eventually going to get rid of it all though.
