I would think so, its for pest anemones, I have used it on manjano, aiptasia, even mushrooms when they get out of hand. so I would assume it would.

I will give you the advice I give everyone in this situation. It is your tank, your organism and if you want to keep it and see what happens that is your call. Few times I have seen were the op was right and the advice may have been to rash and it worked out fine. I don't have a preference either way but I do know if they were mine, I would keep them and if there was a problem I would deal with that when the time comes.

If they are phyllangi americana, which you and I both agree on, then grats on your first coral! Heck this one is even a NPS(Non-photosynthetic) so you don't even need your coral lights for it. Bad news though is that your coral lights may be too bright for it. I don't know if you have had the lights this whole time it will probably be fine.

i have pseudocorynactis hitch hiker in my tank, and he hasn't spread even under stressful situations. I do feed SPS corals so there are particles in the water, but it hasnt grown at all so far. it also does better in shaded area.

It would sting your corals, but the obvious solution for that is to not put your corals near them.

I am letting them live until I find that they are causing problems. As of right now I think the little guys are awesome and they aren't spreading. I did not know what they were exactly until today and just realized they do better in shaded areas so i might alter the live rock scape a little to accomidate them better. I have noticed since getting th Sol that they have receeded a little. They are fully out at night though they seem to love the moonlighting. Thanks for all the comments and help everyone.

Aiptasia-X works like a charm, I had what Google calls them "Ball" anemones and Mojano and Aiptasia, also peppermint shrimp work as well as CBBF, but your 30 may be a bit small for them. Joe's juice is also a good solution, I have heard some people make their own Aiptasia-X out of Kalk and baking soda, but I have not tried that.

I'm confused. Which of the 2 pictures is from your tank? Because those 2 pics aren't of the same thing.

The corals shown in the photos are not any of the pest anemones you mention. I, too, would keep them as they are actually pretty attractive and not as likely to be nearly as invasive as an anemone.
