    Very interesting. Might also be helpful for someone who might be considering buying several cleaners for their tank.

    Good article. I knew they could change sex like fish do, but was not aware they would kill each other if had in more than pairs.

    I've had a pair of cleaner shrimp before...always pregnant with eggs. They are very interesting creatures, to watch. I have two cleaners again that would be a pair, if they didn't have parasitic isopods, which prevent them from becoming female...I haven't seen one of them in about a week, the other about 2 weeks. Hoping they haven't disappeared like the last pair I had did (I've only ever had 2 at a time, so, I know they are not killing each other).
