well i have a purple tang in with the lopezi tang right now, and they NEVER fight, but i am trading the purple for a bunch of croals a yellow tang and a cleaner shrimp, but yeah they acctually "school" together, you will never see them far apart

having two yellow tangs in a 55 is also very cramped for them. They will outgrow the tank in short order. What do you mean by social, like getting along together or being more active?

Tangs are very dirty. 2 in a 55 is asking for trouble. Let alone both fish are reccomended to have at least 75 gallons. Ill admit, i have a Yellow Tang in a 55, but only 1, and shes still small............

I think that 2 tangs in 55 is pushing the envelope. I have two tangs in a 90.

The answer is no. The fire shrimp will not hang around with the peppermint shrimp and peppermint shrimp tend to stay shy even when you keep more than one in the tank. Personally, I'd be more concerned about the shrimp being eaten by your carpet anemone than by your fish.

i agree pepermint shrimp are shy and usually stay in one place.blood shrimp are nice but they are kinda shy to. but they should know better to stay away from a carpet anenome.

As I said before I have one blood one skunk and I have probably at least 8-9 peppermints in my 120 gal ( I had a lot of aptasia on the rock I got from a friend the peppermints ate all of it) the peppermints are shy they come out at night. They other thing about peppermints is they are constantly having babies I always see a couple of pregnant peppermints so I have to have a ton of babies in my tank ( nice food source for my fish I guess) The blood is really shy only the cleaner is bold and always out. They all come out however at feeding time.
