Okay I have had this little guy for almost 2 weeks. I have never seen him eat anything though I have tried mysis, brine, prime reef, formula 2 formula1 and fresh clam minced with shrimp. All has been soaked in garlic and selcon. He doesn't seem to be getting any skinnier. The only other occupant in the tank is a royal gramma. No one is sick or showing any signs of parasites or illness. The water parameters are normal. I just don't know what it takes to see him eat anything. I know they are not aggressive feeders but what is it that he is eating, or is he munching on pods at night?

they are a tough fish to get to eat.

Be patient and try to get the food to float to him.

Sounds like your doing everything right, just keep trying

Yup, clown gobies are a pain to feed. I recently had a green clown die on me because he would eat on and off, then starved. I believe when I read that they are voracious eaters, but I think they are starving partly because they are unhappy in a captive system. Good luck.
