Well one of my Green Chromis did not make it. He never ate. I replaced him today with an Orange line Chromis. He is eating really well and very active!!

Diatoms are starting to show up on the sand now. It has been 1 week. I tested the water today, 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite. I did use water from the 150. I also bought rock from the LFS that had been in the water. Maybe I won't have a very big cycle. I dont know how long it was in the water before I bought it though.
I think these will be the only fish. I want to add a shrimp. (Not sure which one yet.) and I think a Yellow Clown Goby. The Zoa the **** out of it.

the new plastics you added from the HOB filter will provide the silicates needed for diatoms, I set mine up exactly as you did, and I have some appearing on day 5

It's funny, how I am glad to see them. I remember being absolutely furious about them on my first one. "Damn it. Spent all this money, and look at all this Brown Crap!!!" I read and researched, all P.O.ed. That is how I actually found 3Reef!!!! Wow, what a difference a year makes!!!:)

Looking very very good. I also have the same tank, but it has been set up about two months longer than yours. Very fun tank to work on. But you will want to upgrade lighting when you can, it makes a world of difference in comparison to the light it came with. I was blown away by the change.
