    not to say that this IS going to happen... but keep in mind many pond/ fountain pumps are made for freshwater and i have seen more than once actually saltwater killing them- but hey good luck to ya

    Took it apart, and it is built exactly like all the maxi-jets and other impeller driven powerheads that all my tanks use. I hope it will work. If it doesn't, it is only 6 bucks to replace.

    I added the heater today. It is a 50w Marineland Stealth. I liked it because it is solid black, no lights, and pretty much disappears in the backround. Working perfect so far, and so is the mini-power head, also so-far!!

    Been adding a little Mysis Shrimp each day when I feed the main tank. Time to sit back now and wait for the cycle and Diatoms. I cant believe i am going to put myself through this agony again!!!LOL

    New Green Chromis

    Well here is the first Fish in the new Pico. It has been running a week, and temp and all is stable. So I hope these little guys will help get the cycle going.

    Dang Im jealous :) well I guess Ive got to get my rocks and my hammer out now to go back to the drawing board for my aquascaping. Man the tank looks awesome. Fish look like they are very happy and sized right too. I sure am wanting to get the little stripped damsel out of my sons tank to put in mine now.

    Man you are too kind....Yours is just as nice. I am just trying to keep it simple and not overcrowd this thing. When the Diatoms come I will add the CUC. Until then I am done for now.....:)
