I like the video. I had been thinking about an mp40 and a few nano koralias placed in a few spots. After seeing your video I might go with 2 mp10s and a few nanos for in the rocks.

I got my mp10 to a sweet spot like that on short pulse at around 90% power once in my 25 gallon tank . . . It made a wicked wig wag type wave with a crest in the middle. It was waaaaay too much for the fish to handle, but man did it look cool.

I'm finishing my first week with an mp10 in a 34. Neat pump, does a whole lot but its still kinda loud.

Thanks for the video. I have a 40 breeder (36"L) and I was on the fence, MP10 vs MP20.

I still kind of am honestly.. I feel like if I need to max the MP10 out to get the flow I want, then a MP20 would be good to have, not cranked so high up.

Although, I have don't have any experience with either.

They are monstrous pumps for sure, but I would still recommend a MP20 for tanks over 30 gallons. I run one on a 36" long 30 gallon SPS tank and I still think I could use a little more flow. This may not be a problem for people with softies or LPS, but keeping your future options open is key in this expensive hobby. An MP20 can easily accomplish tanks up to 100 gallons and can be upgraded to a MP40 for relatively cheap.
