    Persnally, I like bothe of them. The craftsman one is elegant and it goes great with the style of the house(matching isn't so important though).

    The modern one looks sleek. It has clean lines and it's not very fancy - that was on purpose - I think it works well. It does have that futuristic look you mentioned. I am more of a modern/contemporary guy myself, so I think that is why this one appeals to me.
