    question: i have a 55 gallon established tank, and im having issues choosing between 2 scooter blennies and 2 manderin gobies male and female ofcourse:confused:

    I would choose mandarins if it were me. I love the bright colors flitting around the tank.

    I am assuming you will be raising pods. A 55 will never be able to support two of either species without supplementation.

    do you have a way to grow copods. I have had both and they did fine for me. the only thing is they only eat one thing as soon as that is gone they well die or go after your corals ployps (ive only heard of that never seen it happen).

    I also think mardain are just pretty (when you can find them lol)

    Like mentioned, are you supplementing pods? A single mandarin or scooter will wipe out any existing pods you have... in a 55, supplementation is required for success IME.

    You should likely either supplement pods, be ready to spend a lot of time training them yourself, or wait for the ORA mandarins that are already trained to eat prepared food....it'll help a whole lot.

    leave a sponge or a bath 'poof' in there for a few days then dip the sponge in the DT for 15 minutes every few days
