So this will be my third summer with my tank, I am honestly sick of keeping my house shut to keep my tank happy "temp wise". I have used fans and they do a good job until I need to replace my ATO tank every other day.

I want to get a chiller in a reasonable price range, I currently have a Biocube 29 w/sump (22g total)

I was looking at this because I found one new for 307 shipped.
1/15hp Current USA Prime Chiller w/ Dual Stage Thermostat

Is there anything else in this price range that would be better?

    (Note, graphs are live)
Current Temp - As you can see, I already have spikes of 80.1 & my fans turn on. My A/C was set to 72!

Last 7 Days - Slowly the temp is rising.

Smart move getting the chiller, for sure.

We have several of the Current 1/15 hp and 1/10 hp, and they've been really great chillers for many years, we also have a 1/4 hp Current.

I've never used the Aqua-Euro, however, I do know that Current no longer carries their chiller line (I called them and asked as I'm in the market for a large chiller ATM), so if you ever need parts or repair, that could be an issue.

    The Aqua-Euro gets great reviews.

If you anything close to that for 336 & free shipping let me know. :)

Easiest and cheapest would be if you were able to run a DI line to your stand into your ATO container with a float valve. Then just keep using the fan. This is what I do for 2 of my tanks and it works out great. You only need a very small container (but a large would work as well) and never have to worry about filling up the container.

That would be a good idea for fall/spring. But my apartment gets up to 82-84 in summer with the windows open. My A/C is set to 70 on those days my my electric bill hits 200 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment build in 97

I don't have AC in the rooms for the tanks I just described. Using a fan per tank, I had no problem keeping them below 80 all summer, even when it was triple digits out!

    Ha, they are pricy.

I'm looking at 1/13hp for my applications . That should keep up with 22 gallons
