I have never used this stuff before but have been tempted to add it to my system. Tanks filtration is just the liverock and livesand and a HOB filter with sponge and liverock rubble that I use some seagel and carbon in.

Would it make sense for me to go chemipure elite in place of the seagel and seachem carbon I use about 125ml of each right now and change it once a month.

I use chemipure elite and it keeps my nitrates and phosphates minimal. So I like it

About the only drawback with CPE is that it shouldn't be used if you have any fish with closed opercula (SH, anglers, etc) as it can irritate their gill structures. For those setups, it's best to use regular Chemi-Pure.
