I finally got over my fear (and a day to devote) of plumbing my sump. It took a long time, lots of wasted pvc and fittings, one glued together ball valve and enough rum to blind a pirate, but I think it looks pretty good! I used clear adhesive instead of the purple so it's much more messy than it looks. I'll never plum anything again. It's hard!
Tommorow the leak test. I'm nervous.

Thank you! I'm pretty darn proud of myself. Did not do the leak test today; my current tank was saying "hey, what about me?" So it had a clean and water change... I'll admit is has been 3 weeks :(

Yes, those are the new razors! They look sweet. Hope they grow coral as good as they look. Did a water test today by blocking the drains and filling the overflow. Looks good so far, but I though I should leave it 24 hours to be totally sure.

Well, the build has hit yet another snag. I got 20lbs of sand rinsed and then the well pump crapped out again. Then the "check engine" light went on in my car.

I really like the look of your tank, I am just starting a build on a 100 Gallon DSA tank - I love the tank - mine has the rim and canopy. I really like the clean look of the rimless though.

Seems to always happen this way. I took a nail in my tire while driving out to my LFS! Stopped at the tire shop and the nail is in my side wall can't be patched or plugged, I have to buy a new tire eventually. Kicker is my truck is about three months old and the tires on it are brand new! It's like Newtons law, extra money for fishies, not so fast!

Sorry about your tire! Yes, it always seems to happen when you think you have extra money for your tank. Speaking of the tank I've made no progress today. I'll check In Tomorrow.
