Cheato not looking so good

My chaeto has losts its color , has green hair algae and looks like another type of green algae on it. I have a 6500 k bulb on it about 8"from water line. any suggestions?

The hair algae appears to be smothering the chaeto,blocking good photosynthesis,and are you sure thats not bryopsis as chaeto usually out competes gha

 

Its like a brown algae that gets full of air bubbles. What is bryopsis?

 

Can you post a pic of your DT? Your discription could be cyano or possibly dinoflagellates.

And bryopsis is an algae that is often confused with gha,very,very invasive and can thrive in very low nutrients and take over a tank in a short amount of time.It is brought into the tank on coral frags,live rocks etc.

 

Here is 1 with flash and 1 without, I dont see any sigh of this in tank .I run my fuge light 24/7. I am wondering if i should just discard this chaeto and try a new one. I also have decent flow threw the fuge.
