Okay I am in a disaster mode..I went to every LFS and petco petsmart avalible, also on the internet as well. Nobody is selling Eclipse 12
    lightbulb thats stronger then 13w.
And I really want a coral and anemonie in my tank. So I have decided to sell my eclipse 12 and just buy a starter kit. Petco is having biocube 29 for $100 off sale.

    Oceanic BioCube Aquarium at PETCO

I was wondering if this biocubes lighting system will support anemonies and corals? the 29 gallon is the one im talking about. And also how many fish will 29 gallon support? Well small fishes like clown and damsels.

biocube lighting will support coral, but it wont be able to support anemones

and i would say 4-5 small fish, maybe 6, but not all at once add them slowly after the tank cycle is finished

Hate to differ with you, but one of the LFS here in Houston has 2 Bio-Cubes set up at the register with original lighting, and both are full of healthy nems.

so the stock lighting is okay for biocube to have coral and anoemones?
And how is the filter for this tank? Would I need to buy seperate power head for the biocube 29? or is the one that comes with biocube strong enough?

I agree completely. pc lighting is not going to be enough for most nems to live under long term.the fact that an lfs has bio cubes full of nems with stock lighting only raises a red flag about them to me. under no circumstance should you have more than one nem in that small of a tank.

from what i have seen that biocubes can hold anenomes and coral.because they al3ays put them right by the entrance and registers with 2 clowns and anenome so the llil kids come in and see nemo's and tell daddy and mommy they want a small fish tank like that in their room and guess what happens.........A.he or she get the tank with nemo and anenome or B.(my fav.)lil brat gets to crying and mommy and daddy are like you want to cry more?huh huh and spank that booty lol

Store has been in business 10 years and has nothing but healthy looking livestock. Very good reputation. All I can tell you is what I see. Also, the same nems have been there for some time. Next time I go I will ask him questions, and try to take pics. I know everyone here means well, but everything is not the same for everyone. JME :)
