changing phosphate reactor media

    I just got a new phosphate reactor and now it is time to change the media. I heard some where that you could reuse the media. Can you do this and how?

    I believe Purigen is the only reusable media.

    I forgot where I read it but. there are specific directions. You can google it. Basically it's a bleach soak followed by dechlorine soak.

    some of them you can bake in the oven to dry them out, but the diminished capacity is almost not worth it..
