i got a 4x 54w t5 fixture. i run 3 actinics and 1 white. all corals are fine...and i got coralline finally growing. i have the 3 actinics because i liked the bluer look..but i believe the actinics dont have as much usuable light as a 12,000k white. i want to switch out one of my actinics for another white and run 2 whites and 2 blues. if i do this will it kill my coralline and disturb my coral? how do you all go about changing light bulbs when the time comes? is the best way when bulbs are old to switch out one bulb every day or so?

you could switch out 1 actinic and 1 ho. then the following week, change the other 2. with the new bulbs, you might see a bit of a coraline die off , but it will come back.
