Changing filter media.

    Biocube 14 with Steve T media tray - Chemipure elite and Purigen

    14 lbs live rock.

    When I change Chemipure and purigen do I need to be concerned about a spike or mini cycle?

    Should I change one at a time or just refresh both same time?

    Its ok to change them both out at the same time but my experience is that purigen lasts longer than chemipure. ;)

    No spikes or anything when changing, and can be changed at the same time.
