chalice color transfer

    Interesting result of two chalices growing together. The chalice on the left (yellow eye blue rim) has kept consistent color the chalice on the right orange eye brown base has now developed a blue rim once it came in contact with the other one. Pretty cool, not sure if it's a transfer of genetics of not but still neat

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    That is very cool indeed. I know it happens with anemones and some LPS. Saw a recent thread on another forum and sharing of zooxanthellae amoung acorpora. Interesting stuff for sure, thanks for sharing.

    here is oregon mummy eye and bubblegum monster growing together, no color transfer yet

    Green is always the dominant color so watch out for all your prized chalices turning green.
