Yes. I agree. Buy or make a fish trap or take all the rocks out.

Calling your fish names will not get him out. You are the one that put him in there. :)

FYI - I merged your threads. Please do not double post. Thanks

    Sorry about the double post.
I actually didn't put him in there. It came with the tank. And it makes me so frustrated that it beats up my shrimp it deserves to be called names!
I tried a trap i made alot simular to that. once something new is in the water (net, or trap) my fish vanish and wont come out untill it's gone.

Heh. Ok, did you put a cube of frozen food in the trap? Any bait?

Yeah they are agile. I say pull the rocks. It is a big job, but I have done it to catch fish. Get some Styrofoam coolers and start putting stuff in it. Clean your pumps while you are at it and rearrange everything. Makes for a fun day. :)

    Thanks again.

I would also like to suggest those 18G rubbermade tubs. I used styrofoam cooler boxes once and one of my rocks punctured a hole in it. :( If using styrofoam, be careful putting the rocks in. I had to pull mine out to get rid of a pest and my frustration led to a not so careful approach when setting the rocks down in the box. It was my fault, so just from experience: even though you are gonna be P'ed off when taking the rocks out, try to be calm or you may break your rocks and container and have a wet floor. :p

You are not holding your mouth open right when you are trying to catch him!@!@!

I find that the slight open jaw method works best.

I have found that things are harder to capture after being called names. Try sweet talking him. Or the BB gun. OR you could just make it a not-spring cleaning day and take your rocks out. I guess it'd be an almost-winter cleaning day.
