carnivorous plant terrarium build!!

i know this is a way wrong site but hey, might as well share what im doing with an old salt tank. tomorrow im going out to get unfertilized soil and some silica sand. the silica sand makes the substrate acidic and unhabitable for most plants. im hoping it will be ok for a few mangroves though, but well see. plants should be in hte tank on sunday or a few days after. and i have pics of course

the first layer of gravel is for drainage and to keep everythin humid.
the activated carbon is to keep down on smell (sitting water stinks, its gonna be like a bog)
sphagnum peat moss is for moisture to stay in the soil
silica sand and soil is for growing and rooting of course.

lol Gexxs insect attack farm! it cost me 5 dollars to setup. im gonna get some heat bulbs though to help the humidity.
