How did you know you had one alex? I know you had some deaths but what signs should I keep an eye out for.

unexplained deaths + corals moving well across the tank + 2 fish dying for no good reason.

At first I thought it was my lavender tang moving frags but after he died it continued and then where frags were ending up became very localized. Also spending 4 hours a night reading 4-5 saltwater forums helped give me a decent background on random coralvores that eat fish as well.

they kill fish far bigger than them. I used RO water and kalk paste to try and get that worm out and it just shrugged it off.

man I was so pumped. The last year had been pretty dissapointing with losing clams and so many stonies. When my tang died in july and I lost a few of my big zoa colonies I was pretty down. Bagging this guy really signaled a resurgence of my passion, and my poor back account its in shock.... I may need to QT it.

In the last 2 years I lost 2 Heniochus, 4 zebra dart fish, Naso tang, Sleeper Railway Glider Goby, Green bubble tip anemone, On the verge of loosing two Rock anemones. To many to count. Perhaps I have the same issue. Water parameters always test correctly. Maybe I need to look into building a trap.

    Great catch by the way.

I build an awesome trap, but it was far larger than I thought it was and no way would a trap have worked.
