Ok well i was setting up looking for a spot in my tank to put my new candy cane coral and i put the candy cane coral on the substrate and when rearanging some rock work one rock fell on it and snapped it in half litterally in the middle will it be ok? It did not break the heads or even touch the heads just oddly straight through the middle of the skeleton i set the two pieces up in the tank hoping for the best but is this the end of it since the coral broke?? :(

They will be fine. I have had an acan burn the corals down to the skeleton, with no tissue visible, only to come back weeks later, stronger than ever. You basically just fragged them, no harm done.

Yup. They should be just fine. It happens all the time in nature.

from what I understand from what you wrote. the actual heads were not touched and just the actual skeleton was broken. so you had multiple heads and now you have 2 bunches of heads? pics would make it easier, but if I understand correctly you just basically fragged them. they will be fine.

Yep, quickest fragging you'll do! Sometimes ya gotta glue a piece to piece of rubble. Been there, done that, what's next? ;-)

I also have another question as crazy as it is the part that snapped in half already has two new heads growing which was pretty damn quick! But will the skeleton of this coral grow and make new heads or will the skeleton just stay the same size until the heads over take it?
