can this be a saltwater tank???

    Halogen doesn't work for coral. I've been looking at these too. I was thinking maybe Led's inside the top and gutting out the rear filter section to fill with macro algae. The Led's in the top should light the macro as well.

    I'm a little sad someone might beat me to this I think it's an awesome idea.

    With that outcome I would say it would be well worth the work.

    i would find it very difficult to do not only because it is small but also you would have to mod it to accommodate a lot more items essential of a reef. that being said have you seen the video on youtube of a guys fluval egde reef
