I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. It looks like you might be limited on filtration and lighting if you want to keep the stock look.

After looking at it closer, it looks like it would be horrible for surface gas exchange. The tank looks completely enclosed with a glass/acrylic top covering the whole thing. While the tank is cool looking, I personally wouldn't use it for a reef tank.

Cleaning and aquascaping would be a pain since you'd have to work through the small opening. I think it looks cool but the honeymoon would end quickly IMO.

This Tank is a Fluval Edge... But they don't really show a full screen shot. It looks good from what I can see.

If you could exchange the powerfilter for an overflow, then plumb that to a sump, you would have a good filtration, then either a clip-on or pendant mh lamp and you've got yourself a reef!

I'm pretty sure that tank is designed to be viewed from the top as well, so I think it would be pretty awesome.

I might give it a shot and see what happens whats the worst thing??? it comes with halogen lights??? those ok for soft corals?

I got to admit that it would be wicked but these things are not designed for saltwater and it would be a PITA with any mods, customizations/additions, aquascaping, salt creep etc., for the price I wouldnt bother trying and get a nano with all the stuff u need. If I was to buy it I would do a nice freshwater.
