    My live rock and sand has just arrived.
    Im going to put my rock in first but can i put the sand in straight after? Or shall i wait?

    right ive put all the rock and sand in.ive turned everything off so when can i turn everything back on?

    Once the sand settles, otherwise it will clog your pump.

    most of the sand has settled the water is just very cloudy.shall i wait till tonight to turn everything on.

    depending on type of sand, you should be able to start running all of your equipment the first day except a skimmer if you have one. I would wait a week to run it so your not sucking an bacteria out. Just make sure you have all of the sand you need in your tank now. If you need more, now is the time to add it before anything alive is in the tank. It can still be added to a stocked tank but can cause issues.
