Corals are far more sensitive to instability than fish, so yes, it would be in your best interest to wait.

If the cloudiness is indeed not from using pre-mixed saltwater, this sounds like what I just recovered from.

I woke up one day to cloudy white water. All of my corals were closed, xenia stopped pulsing. I did water changes, changed salt brands, ran carbon, did everything I could do and the white stayed. My fish and CUC looked fine. On the third day I moved all of my corals that I could move into a QT I set up. Sadly it was too late and all of my LPS minus my open brain withered away leaving nothing behind but a skeleton.

It took five days to clear up on its own and then my corals went back to normal. Then a few days later my water started getting white again. Eventually it turned to a yellow/brownish color, my tank literally looked like a swamp. This time around though all of my corals opened like normal, my xenia pulsed, and no negative behavior seen from my livestock.

It eventually got to the point where I could not see anything in my tank. Only fish when they swam along the glass. I tried carbon...nothing. Took that out and tried Dr.Tim's clarifier for 24 hours, nothing. I eventually bought a UV sterilizer and in 24 hours my water went from swamp to white. In about two days it was pretty back to normal. And today my water is amazingly clear. I put the UV in last Thursday.

From the help of others on this site, I narrowed it down to two possible issues.

    1) Bacteria bloom - Pretty sure it was this
    2) Caulerpa going sexual - I found some weaved in with my cheato. It was such a small amount though that if it indeed was this, that small amount was some potent stuff.

Ok. So I just got home from and it seems as though in the 8 hours I've been gone I now have bubble algae. What do I do to get rid of that and what causes it and could this have caused the water to go cloudy

Bubble aglae comes from bubble algae spores... At some point it was introduced in your tank.

You can't get rid of it without bleaching whatever it is growing on. You can only fight it.

Emerald crab *might* pick at it, but it won't eradicate it. You can clean it off, but it will come back.

I have one stupid patch of the stuff growing in one of my blasto colonies, killing heads and all. It's one of the more evil algae's IMO.

Keeping your nitrates and phosphates in check is your best defense along with careful (and manual) pruning. Try not to pop them, as that will spread spores - but honestly, I haven't had much of a problem with them spreading. They stay in one spot, inbetween polyps. Ugh.
