No pumps for the second chamber. Just let the water pressure from the Ca reactor push it through. Drip rate should be the same after the second chamber.

I know, just trying to keep things positive. It sounds like you're well on your way. :)

A second chamber will be a great way to bring the PH back to normal. but you may still be left with dropping levels.
I would bring your CA and ALK back to where you want them. then with the addition of the second stage monitor your CA and ALk over the next week. If you see the levels dropping increase your drip rate a bit while buffering your CA and ALK with 2-part. Keep monitoring until you can maintain your Levels without buffering with 2-part.

The tricky part about the addition of a second stage is you want to measure the PH of your effluent in or just exiting the first stage. Measuring it after the second stage will not result in the correct media melting point

Effluent ph is at 6.8-6.9? that does seem like you need a second chamber. Manually test the ph from the second chamber after you have that hooked up.

What pH reading should I be expecting from the effulent our of the CA reactor? I'm in the process of setting up the 2nd chamber, need to pickup some quick fittings, when it's up and running what would be considered good pH our of this additional chamber?
