hey guys heres whats going on... i have a 40 breeder and i need to buy a light for it now. i plan on keeping softies lps and sps but prob no clams. i've been looking around on reefgeek and i figured out that im going to buy a tek light. now heres where you guys come in to play. would a 4 bulb be enough for sps in a 40 breeder? or should i be safe and get the 6?

    thanks you guys!

6 light if that is your best option... If you are not sure there is no rush right?

Why the urgency? My vote is to take some time and make a decision after you've thought about it. Sorry. :-/

Think of forward compatibility. If you can afford it, and there's even a ghost of a chance that you might want to keep more challenging livestock later on, buy the best and most powerful light you can.

My two cents. Good luck! :)

I choose 4 bulb with bulbs, IMO and IME more then enough. Get good bulbs and your'll be good to go. I think 6 may be a little too much, especially for the depth.
