buying Apex and have a Q

I did some more research on a few other forums, mainly reef central (sorry better info on apex there) and found a large number of people using the pinpoint probes with no issues for a long period of time.

I went through tb aquatics. I buy stuff from them reasonably often and the points come in handy. I was going to do the MD price match, but wasn't sure if they would price match since the pinpoint probe wasn't the same as the probe it normally comes with.

I then went through BRS and ordered dosing pumps, calibration fluid, and some other items I needed at a huge discount.

 

i had a problem with using the pin point probe on my apex. it seems some do, some dont. why not go threw aquacave and get the right probe ( neptunes probe) for the unit and 10% off.

 

Because of some extremely poor reviews when it came to customer service. I also know someone who had an issue with them locally. If I have an issue with the Apex, I want to be able to get actual help.

 

makes sense. ... we all have or favorite spots to shop on line i think. i know i like to stick with companys that i have dealt with. and had good experiences with.
