thanks for posting this,,i have a brother in law in wpg who is also into marine fish,i will forward this to him,,he will spread the word about this s..o.b

 

Would you consider going back and decking him for the community?

 

I second this.

 

I would have no problem with it all, and if I ever run into him in outside his store it's a done deal.... its just close to Christmas and i don't want my family to have to bail me out of jail.

I was banned from the store, so if i go back it will be not so good for me.

I'm thinking it will be a new years event!

I know there aren't a lot of people on this forum from Winnipeg or even from Manitoba but for what it's worth we have 2 LFS that are IMO decent honest PPL that run them.

Bird shop and Aquariums: nice mom and pops shop but quite limited knowledge about saltwater from the staff with the exception of the 2 kids of the mom and pops. Decent prices....

Fish gallery is the second....better knowledge base from the owner, nice selection of stock but is usually 10- 25% MORE expensive that other places in comparison.

There use to be another one but it opened shop in a nice area of the city where the rent on the building was much more expensive that it is on main St. here in the murder capital of canada.... They went belly up really quick.

 

haha, oh man. Thats just crazy! Some companies that have both brick'n'mortar store and online presences do have difference prices on particular items, we do that, but a few bucks, not a 200 difference on a skimmer. that just sucks

 

Lol, I don't anyone would really want you to get into trouble. I don't see a reason why you got banned though. You did nothing wrong. Not like you would want to go back anyways though. ;D
