Hey all, im in the process now of planning a new build. it will be a 29 gallon (downgrade from my 55). I would prefer to have it drilled because i would like to have a close loop on this tank. What i would like to do is have a 3/4" drain in the middle of the back wall and id like to have two 1/2" returns drilled in the left and right corners. Ive been calling around to have it professionally drilled but im unsure of the hole sizes i should have drilled. So my question is what size hole would i need for a 3/4" and 1/2" bulkheads? Thanks in advance! :)

You will need to find diameter of bulkhead you are buying to size hole correctly.

    Your standard schedule 40 1/2" bulkheads need a 1 1/4" hole, 3/4" requires a 1 1/2".

    Hope that helps :)
