A good 4 stage RO/DI setup would do the trick.

If the Spectrapure one is too expensive then go for the BRS one - just be sure to get a dual TDS meter otherwise you have no idea what shape your membrane is in and what kind of water you are actually producing.

I have all three in a way. I use an AWI Typhoon 4 stage, with BRS Sediment and Carbon filters, with a SpectraPure membrane and BRS DI resin. I will be switching to Silicabuster DI when my next change comes. I see no problem with any of them. I got my RO/DI kit used, along with some other equipment that I was able to seel at a profit, so my RO was "free." I then changed the filters out. My kit came with a pressure gauge and auto shut off valve, and I added the dual TDS meter to it (from BRS). I feel that all three are necessary if filling a large container (auto shut off not needed if you are going to be watching it fill so it doesn't overflow).

Spectrapure is actually cheaper than the others when you consider cost of operation as well as capital outlay. The savings in DI replacement alone pays for the difference.
Take a look at the sale price on the Spectrapure MaxCap at Marine Depot, its a steal!

Or the CSP-DI directly from Spectrapure again on sale:

Not expensive at all when you consider all you are getting.

I have a 4 stage "build your own" system from brs, works great and was the cheapest option i found.
